At Eibsee, the water keeps drawing you back. One moment it is framed by leaves; a few steps later, the shore opens into blue, with a red boat drifting across it. The photographs leave room for both the view and the people finding their own place beside it.

There is an easy rhythm to these lakeside moments: a path through the trees, a pause on the rocks, someone heading down for a swim. Nothing needs rushing. Sometimes a familiar way of enjoying a place is simply to settle in and let the afternoon unfold.

Then the mood changes. Old Zugspitzbahn posters give way to empty tables, glass and rock, and ridges fading into cloud. Set beside the bright lake, these mountain views feel like a quieter ending: less colour, more distance, and a little time to look.
