A narrow passage opens onto a sunlit street, and a walk through the old town finds its way to the Danube. These photographs linger between the two: stone walls, colourful façades, people passing through, a quiet pause by the water. There’s no need to fit everything into one afternoon. Leave a little room to take the longer way, look down a side street, or simply sit and watch the river.
A bicycle passes a row of café tables; a few steps away, a passage slips into shade. The photographs move between these little changes in pace. Buildings may draw your eye first, but it is the ordinary things around them that make the streets feel lived in.

Down by the water, the view opens up. The bridge, the river and the people along its banks become part of the same scene. Perhaps that is a good place to end this walk: with somewhere to sit, a little time left over, and no particular hurry to leave.
